Tommy Weisz

Tommy, 42, Barrington, Illinois native, with 19 years of experience in SFR. He has bought and sold over $500,000,000 (approx. 2,000 single family units) during his career that began working for an early stage SFR Firm based in Austin, leading acquisitions of 300+ single family homes in a very focused segment of that market. In 2009 during the peak of the downturn he moved to Dallas Fort Worth to expand the portfolio. In order to diversify during a flailing market, other strategies were incorporated into the company’s model including renovating & retail to eventually flip hundreds of houses as well as disposing of homes that didn’t fit the firm’s criteria to other groups. Weisz founded Cash House Buyers USA as an advertising vehicle in 2011 to increase volume, then in 2014, when buying homes at the Foreclosure Auction was introduced to a new competitor in Waypoint Homes. Waypoint ended up being a valuable partner and the first Institutional buyer that Weisz sold assets to. Since 2014 he has sold hundreds of homes to a dozen other large firms such as Amherst, Progress Residential and OpenHouse Texas.

Tommy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University. He currently resides in Dallas with his wife and 2 children.
